Merry Christmas!

Christmas time is always one of my favorite holidays! And having it to share with Liliana makes it even more special. We started out with a visit from Santa, which didn't go too well for Liliana but we'll try again next year. Liliana had her annual Christmas program and the pictures in front of the tree were taken for our Christmas card. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Fall Fun 2009

We've had lots of fun this fall with taking Liliana to experience some more "1st." She tailgated with her Uncle Bubbie at UGA and went to her 1st pumpkin patch.

Celebrating Granny Jordan's 80th Birthday!

We traveled to the town of Thomaston, GA in July to celebrate Rusty's Grandmother's 80th Birthday. Liliana was a perfect little princess in her gorgeous dress from Mary Kay and Cecil and enjoyed meeting & greeting.

Having a great time as we turn 13 Months!

As we are turning into a true toddler, she is making lots of faces....I'll let you figure out what she is thinking as I took this picture right after she woke up! When we found out we were having a girl, Rusty bought this rabbit from Pottery Barn while we were shopping for bedding. Well, Miss Liliana has discovered that this is now her favorite snuggle buddy and it has to be her bedtime partner. As you can tell, she uses her rabbit anyway she sees fit to sleep.

In our neighborhood, we have a neat playground where Liliana loves to play. As you can see, both of them had a great time! One of our goals for the summer was to beat Mario Karts on the Wii! We're almost there--we only have a few more 150cc's to go!!!

Watching Cartoons?

Today, we have been laying low due to Liliana being sick with tonsillitis. So, she was getting fussy so I turned the TV on to Noggin. As it turns out, she was really into it so I let her have a snack and watch for a little bit. Bunny was of course hoping for the best and she ended up with a wafer after Liliana had dropped one and didn't' realize it!

Jessica and I met at UGA while we were in grad school. As it turns out, after we graduated we worked together at Russell Middle School in Winder while we lived in Athens. So, we communted together for 3 years. We have stayed in touch and have been able to see each other off and on over the years even though we have lived miles apart. So, she was visiting her Aunt in SC and was able to drive over for the day to visit. We had a great time, even if it ended short due to Liliana getting sick. Here are some pics of her boys, Tyler and Brady. I haven't seen Tyler since he was about 6 months old and this is the first time I have met Brady and she met Liliana.

Summertime in July '09

Liliana and Mom are back home and settled in for the summer until we go to the beach in August. We are taking Mommy and Me swim lessons and just hanging out.

Happy 4th!

On the actual 4th The Miller's invited us to Lake Norman to celebrate with them. We had a great time and Rusty and Chris shot fireworks from the boat ramp. Liliana was pretty unsure of the fireworks and ended up sleeping through them.

We started out by celebrating our 4th with the Carolina Kids Parade. This is the daycare that Liliana attends and it is a way bigger deal than at first thought!
